As the companies Rehabilitation Technician, Ben works hard with clients face to face, delivering support with AAC'S primarily, ensuring that the clientelle are comfortable with their devices, optimally communicating idependently, read more below to find out Bens history

My Story

Starting his career at the age of 18, Ben flew into the world of asssitive technology with rudimentary PECS (picture exchange commnication systems) then working his way up towards high tech Eye-gaze systems, Talkpad devces among many more. 

​

Attending many MDT's, crafting communication care plans / passports, Ben has vital expereince in recognising the challenges faced by those using assistive communication devices and can tackle these head on with thorough investigation and prompt adjustments if needed. 

​

Working for 5 years within the UK's most prestiged SEND college, Ben has expeirence with a variety of needs, working from ABI's (Aquired brain injury), all the way to complex challenging behaviour and beyond. 

​

In Bens spare time, he is attendng refresher courses, access and accesibility events along with plenty AAC and AT oriented days to further develop his expertise in speech and language communication.  

​

When attending a client, Ben ensures the thorough process of obtaining a clear picture for reports is made, documenting every steof the way from beginning, to end and continuous support thereafter.
